2 more auditions
Things are starting to get interesting here. I had one audition on Wednesday for a health supplement company called USANA and there’s another one this afternoon for Web Talking Heads. This one today should be a lot like the first one I had so it’s like I get a second chance to avoid the mistakes I made last time. this one will have a teleprompter, how cool is that? The one for USANA was really cool and fun. They had me come in a running outfit and run on a treadmill in their studio. Then they had me run again carrying a big flag. After I was nice and out of breath they asked me to give a line to the camera. It was hilarious because I had to catch my breath and then when I was finally ready to deliver the line, my throat was dry so I had to get some water. Finally, I looked in the camera and said with gusto and conviction, “What are you doing today? I’m changing lives.” Way fun. Another model from a different agency was there and she’s almost 10 years younger than me! I had the advantage of watching her go first from another room. She has the same look as me but a little more ethnic. It was funny exchanging pleasantries with her knowing that we’re both competing against each other. I can get really competitive.
I was really pleasantly surprised to get so many comments on my last post. Thank you all for your continued readership and participation. I have to apologize that I haven’t been as faithful a blogger lately. Things have gotten busy. That and I’m typing with press-on nails. Do you know how hard that is?
The photoshoot where I’m playing around in the mud in a white dress, remember that? Well, I finally got the photos back from it and I’m mighty pleased. I’ll be putting my favorites up on my website as soon as I get them on disc so stay tuned!
Enjoy and keep those comments coming. I thrive on feedback (mainly positive feeback, please)
P.S.-I should update you on my luxury status thus far. I can now say that I have owned an item by Chanel. A lipgloss that cost me $26. It was everything I always dreamed a lipgloss should be: smooth, glossy and in a very sophisticated package. But I had to return it because the shade just wasn’t me. As for La Perla, I’m still working on it. Check back in a year or two. Better yet, if everyone who reads this chips in $10 for my birthday, I could probably get a pair of briefs on sale. Yeah, it’s that expensive.
